  • A beautiful home to live
Kingsmills’ outstanding accommodation offers residents space, comfort and choice. Smart, single-occupancy rooms can, of course, be furnished with resident’s own furniture but are always equipped with luxurious en-suite bathrooms, advanced care systems, TV points and telephone lines. Residents can enjoy companiable drinks and dinner in the stylish lounge and dining rooms, where events are frequently hosted. There are also many private, more peaceful areas at Kingsmills, where it is possible to quietly read, relax or reflect. The lovely Kingsmills garden is beautifully maintained by resident gardening enthusiasts. The team cultivate herbs and vegetables for the kitchen, create stunningly colourful displays throughout the summer and ensure there is always a sensory element to the grounds.
  • Advanced nursing and medical facilities
Highly trained personnel deliver exceptional personal care, wholly focused on the resident’s individual circumstances. Our outstanding on-site nursing and care teams are available around-the-clock and work closely with local GPs (or the resident’s own GP if preferred). Meeting our residents’ unique health and wellbeing needs is our sole focus at Kingsmills – and we do so in a safe and welcoming space. We can also facilitate access to alternative therapies, a qualified chiropodist and even a visiting hair stylist.
  • Living life to the full
Kingsmills’ chef works closely with our residents to make sure the food created in-house has appeal for a wide range of palates and nutritional needs. Our dining room offers a restaurant experience, serving fresh, seasonal and local produce where possible.Meals can be enjoyed socially with other residents, visiting loved ones or even room service-style in the resident’s private accommodation. Supporting residents’ holistic wellbeing, our dedicated activities coordinator develops a full schedule of optional events, trips and activities. Consultation with residents and their families ensure that there is always something interesting planned for everyone to look forward to. And, of course, residents can relax in private if that is their preference. Staff are always on hand to assist in any way they can.
