Your main roles as a Laundry Assistant in one of our Homes will be collecting, washing & sorting all linen sent to the laundry in the correct manner, pressing laundry and repairing clothing as necessary. You will ensure machines are correctly used, monitored and maintained, and any faults or damage are reported immediately. You will be aware of, and adhere to COSHH requirements and promote safe working practices, in line with Company policies and procedures.

You will have experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate attention to detail. You will have an understanding of COSHH and HACCP and communicate effectively and work well as part of a team. You have a caring and friendly nature, and will ensure residents’ dignity and privacy are respected. You will ensure all information of a confidential nature gained is not divulged to third parties.
