Renaissance Care operates 18 care homes throughout Scotland, looking after older adults within residential and nursing settings.

 

Over recent years, we have aimed to break stereotypical boundaries around life within care homes but placing a focus or resident lifestyle and wellbeing. With this, we create opportunities for residents to thrive, through active lifestyle, events, activities, partnerships and personalised care.

 

We now aim to spread this message where people can continue to achieve goals and ambitions whilst living within a care home setting. Therefore, the role of Content Creator is becoming increasingly important in order to capture the moments of magic that occur each day.

We’re looking for someone with a fun and engaging personality, who’s comfortable with people and happy to take the lead in creative situations.

The ideal candidate should be creative, patient and fun with a keen eye for detail. The role is primarily to create engaging video and photographic content for social media. To align with the brand identity but also to stretch creative boundaries to capture audience attention and reach new target audiences.

The successful candidate will have the autonomy to drive creative content with support and collaboration from the wider team and link with the wider content, SEO and digital strategy.

The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of experience in a similar role or enthusiastic graduates with a portfolio to showcasing social media content—whether for a personal project or a brand.

We offer flexibility with where and when you work, but the role will require travel to capture those perfect moments in our care homes.

Above all, you should be passionate about photography, film and social media - full of ideas for compelling content. You’ll be proactive, imaginative, and open to experimenting to get the best results. Keeping up with the latest trends, movements and events by offering ideas on how best to entertain or educate our audience.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation Film, edit, and produce high-quality video and photography content for platforms Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook & LinkedIn as per our social media strategy
  • Create simple static imagery such as text + image overlays as required for our social media content plan
  • Creating High-Quality Written Content: Produce excellent written copy for social media posts, subtitles, and other related content.
  • You will ensure all content is optimised for each platform and audience, considering format, dimensions, and it’s overall representation of the brand in the feed
  • Collaborate with internal teams including managers and wellbeing leads to ensure you are aware of activity/opportunities within our care homes
  • Stay update to date with the latest social media trends, global events, tools, and technologies to keep content fresh and relevant
  • Use editing software to enhance videos and photos, adding effects, transitions, and captions as needed
  • Planning and Manage Content Calendars: Organise and schedule content to be published at optimal dates and times.
  • Content Calendar Management: Planning and scheduling content to maintain a consistent publishing schedule.
  • Content Analysis: Tracking content performance and making data-driven improvements.

Qualifications and experience:

Technical:

  • Experience in photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
  • Familiarity with social media editing apps like CapCut, Canva, or InShot
  • Experience with social media monitoring platforms such as hootsuite

Social Media:

  • Understanding of content best practices for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok and Stories
  • A good understanding of social strategy and appreciation of the wider social media industry

Creative:

  • Develop and execute creative ideas that captivate and engage our target audience
  • Ability to create and implement unique content ideas

Pay: From £17,857.00 per year
