Maintenance Technician
We’re looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our residents. This position offers flexibility, versatility and an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (or those with a trades background) to join our team at Beech Manor for 22 hours a week, worked over 3 days.
For our residents, finding purpose in each day can come from feeling involved and included in the daily life. As the Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in creating a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment that helps our residents feel at home.
Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance on the building, its services, and grounds, as well as maintaining the gardens, car park, and common areas. Your efforts will help ensure our care home is always safe, functional, and beautifully presented. You'll oversee the outdoor storage areas and maintain clear and accurate records in line with Health & Safety standards and compliance including fire safety. Through your work, you will support a secure, comfortable, and homely atmosphere for our residents.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will hold a clean UK Driving Licence and have a vehicle. You will have a proven track record in building maintenance and at least one year's experience in a similar role. You are aware of Health & Safety requirements and be willing to undertake mandatory training - a recognised trade qualification is desirable.
