Welcome to Kingsmills Care Home in Inverness - Renaissance Care
Kingsmills Care Home is located in the desirable Crown area of Inverness, close to local amenities and transport links. Kingsmills is a purpose-built home, designed with space and light in mind. The joy of the home doesn’t only come from the bricks and mortar, but from the incredible people who live, work and support the home.
Kingsmills is greatly established within the community, working with businesses, schools and nurseries to deliver intergenerational projects to ensure residents maintain that social connection with their community.
The beautiful gardens compliment the interior of Kingsmills. Residents are supported and encouraged to explore the environment and enjoy the relaxing setting.
Kingsmills care home provides care for up to 60 elderly residents within spacious, single occupancy, en suite rooms. Each room is equipped with care systems, tv points and telephone lines if required. Residents are encouraged to bring all, or some of their own furniture and belongings to help create that home from home feel.
The home boasts large open lounge and dining areas for residents to relax in and enjoy. There’s often events and entertainment for you to enjoy, however, there is also plenty of quiet areas for you to relax in if you prefer.
The well-kept garden areas are maintained by our gardening enthusiasts. Residents often show a keen interest in adding sensory elements to the grounds. This makes incredible visual displays of colour in summer and well as providing practical areas for growing herbs and vegetables for use within our kitchen.

Catering & Services
Our in house chef consults with residents to create seasonal menus that meet the nutritional need and taste pallets of our residents. Meals can be enjoyed in our sociable dining area, or if preferred can be served in your room. Special meals with loved ones can also be arranged.
Physical and mental wellness is very important to us which is why we provide a good variety of activities for residents. The dedicated activities coordinator plans regular events and outings in consultation with residents and their families to ensure that everyone always has several things to look forward to.
Participation is entirely optional, and staff will do their best to help residents relax in private if that is their preference.
